Outfit of the Week- Red Cardigan and Shiny Black Accessories

Need a great dinner look but still want to feel comfortable? Try this classy but cozy ensemble.

Start with your favorite pair of dark jeans and a neutral colored shirt, such as black, white, or beige. Next add a fashionable, loose fitting, soft sweater like this red shrug style cardigan. This light weight item is easy to dress up or dress down depending what you pair it with.

Now add your accessories. Since the cardigan is a bright color, we decided to keep the jewelry, shoes, and clutch in a neutral black. To give the accessories more interest, however, we chose ones that had a little bling or shine to them. These black suede peep toe heels have a great texture and beautiful crystal embellishments. The black and white rhinestone clutch purse shown here also has great embellishments with its rhinestone design and gunmetal hardware. Lastly we finished off the look with a black enamel bib statement necklace. It has a bit of shine to it and makes the outfit complete.

What’s great about all these accessories is that they are versatile enough to use with other looks. You could pair all of them with a beautiful blue evening dress and be ready to attend a wedding. You can also use each piece individually for more casual outfits. The necklace would work great over a tee shirt. The purse would pair well with faux leather shorts.

However you decide you want to mix and match these fabulous items is okay with us. Go to Chicastic to find the cardigan, accessories and other great pieces.
