Thanksgiving is just around the corner. That means turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and all sorts of yummy foods. That also means the challenge of picking out a cute outfit that allows you to still chow down. Here are some tips on what to look for when creating your holiday ensemble.
If you want to wear a dress to your family party, look for one with a high waist. You want it to be fitted somewhere below your chest but above your stomach. Another option is to buy a loose fitting dress and cinch it in with a belt. Then as the evening goes on feel free to loosen it a notch or two, don’t worry your secret it safe with us.
If your gathering is more casual, opt for a pair of slim jeans with stretch in them or a pair of leggings. Wear a long loose fitting top to make your outfit look chic and make you comfortable no matter how much stuffing you eat.
As far as footwear, think about the type of party you’re at. Lots of sitting? Wear heels. You won’t be on your feet that long so you can wear some cute pumps. Mostly a standing event? Put on your boots or flats. Comfort is key.
