Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a holiday where green can be seen everywhere. Usually it’s an emerald green or kelly green, both of which are very vibrant. Those shades don’t appeal to everyone, however, and aren’t flattering on everyone’s skin tone either. Typically kelly green works on pale skin tones, bright green or olive on tan or medium skin tones, and army green on darker skin tones. It can take some trial and error to find out which shade of green works best for you. There are so many varieties of green that we recommend exploring all the shades and see what you like.
When choosing green to incorporate into your look, pick out what speaks to you. If you love green, then go for a green shirt or tunic or a pair of green leggings or pants. A more versatile option would be a scarf. It can be worn over a neutral colored shirt or worn with your coat.
If you aren’t the biggest fan of green, small earrings or a bracelet might work for you. If you don’t want to bother figuring out which green is right for you, then just choose a green clutch or handbag. You can easily work them into your outfit since skin tone isn’t really a factor for this accessory.
