It was recently announced that The X-Files is coming back. Fans are rejoicing about seeing their favorite characters, Mulder and Scully, return. The show originally aired from 1993 to 2002, so it’s been awhile since we’ve seen Agent Dana Scully rock numerous business suits. For this throwback Thursday we’d like to make some suggestions on how to update her wardrobe.

Since she’s an agent, she needs to be respectably dressed. Nothing super low cut or too short. However, we think something a little more form fitting than a pants suit might be a nice change. We’re not suggesting leggings or a spandex superhero costume, but maybe a modern biker jacket to give her a little edge.

Another idea is to add a little more color to her outfits. If they have to keep with the strict collared shirt and blazer look, how about some more colorful shirts or a colorful statement necklace? We don’t mean anything too wild that would be out of character. Solid colored shirts, no prints, or a white shirt with something like a blue enamel bib necklace. The color would even play up her eyes.
