We all know the iconic dress Baby wore for the last dance of the season. I’m sure a lot of us remember all the cute casual outfits she wore when rehearsing with Johnny too. They usually consisted of jean shorts, varying in length, and tank tops or crop tops. For this throwback Thursday we gave one of her outfits a little update.

Coral is flattering on so many skin tones and Baby’s skin tone is no exception. We updated her coral tank top with a lace crop top. It’s form fitting so Johnny can check her dance moves and flirty with its see through lace material and high cut. We paired it with high-waisted shorts. They’re not rolled up at the bottom like pairs she wore in the movie. They’re figure flattering and leave less skin showing between the top and shorts. This spring’s trend is showing just a little midriff so shorts with a lower waist wouldn’t be in style.

We accessorized the look with a pair of sandals with straps. We think she could dance in these unlike flip flops. It is summer after all, no need to wear sneakers. To carry her makeup or other must have items, we chose a white crossbody bag. It’s practical, chic, and adds a little pop to the outfit.
