It’s nice to be pampered at spas but that’s not always affordable. With a few select items you can treat yourself whenever you want, and not have to save up for just one special day a year. First, set the scene. Create a calming space with soothing music and some candles or aromatherapy. Depending on how you like to relax either draw a bath, give yourself a facial or take care of your feet with a pedicure. You can do all three if  you like, it’s your day! For pedicures, you need just a few items- nail clippers and a nail file, a callus remover, and of course your favorite color of nail polish. Have fun with it and get creative with new colors or nail art.

Some spas offer to have your makeup done but this is another easy piece you can do at home. Invest in a brush set and pick up a new eye shadow or lipstick you’ve been wanting to try, and experiment like you did when you were a teenager.
