So many celebrity couples are splitting up lately. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, and now Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Our hearts can’t take it, so we decided to turn this negative news into fashion inspiration. Here are tips on creating an outfit to make your ex jealous.

When choosing an outfit, you want something that makes you feel comfortable and shows off your best features. It doesn’t need to be skintight or show off a lot of skin. It just needs to make you look your best and feel your best. If that happens to be something skintight or shows some skin, that’s fine too.

Think about what your ex loved to see you in. Slinky dresses? T-shirts? High heels? Whatever it is, try to incorporate it into your look. Not necessarily the exact outfit though. You want to play it cool and not be totally obvious that you’re trying to make him sorry he’s not with you.

For our outfit we chose a pencil skirt that shows off your curves and has a sexy zipper detail. Next we added a t-shirt for an easy going casual aspect to the look. We accessorized with a strong knuckle duster clutch and lastly, we added a pair of sexy t-strap high heels. High heels are a great addition to most looks in this case.
