If you were a child of the nineties then you might be as excited as we are at the news of Nickelodeon potentially dedicating a channel to nineties shows like Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, and Hey Arnold. So for this throwback Thursday we wanted to create an adult version of Angelica Pickles signature look.

This little troublemaker rocked a typical little kid look of fun colors, patterns, and layers. To start our more mature version, we chose a pair of pink flowered leggings. We know we wanted to add a form fitting long sleeve top and then a sleeveless dress on top, but we needed to choose what colors. Angelica’s outfit consisted of orange, purple, and teal, but that comes off as a childish color combo. Instead we opted for more subdued shades of blue and red/pink. We pulled these colors out of the print on the leggings to make sure everything matched and made a complete look.
