Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has a fun feel to the whole movie. What’s better then a day of playing hooky, lip syncing in a parade and dining as the sausage king of Chicago? We took Ferris’ casual yet business outfit mix and adapted it for you to wear.

A key piece to the look is the leopard print. Ferris wore it as a vest but we used it in a pair of printed leggings. We love the feisty look but needed to balance out the casual bottoms with a top that was a little more refined. We opted for a textured gray sweater to mimic the gray slacks he wore. For accessories we kept with the neutral color palette and chose a pair of white sneakers. We styled them to be worn without socks to show a little ankle below the leggings. We also added a beige crossbody bag to keep all the essentials you’d need for whatever your day of hooky may bring you.
