Supergirl is a classic comic book character and a sexy Halloween costume. It’s actually one of the easier costumes to put together. You just need a few basic pieces and then you’re all set to fight evil.

Start with a blue top. It can be a form fitting t-shirt or tank top or a sexy blue corset like the one featured here. Next add a red skirt, preferably one that has a bit of movement to it. You’ll also need a cape. You can purchase one or make your own. If you want a DIY cape, then grab some red fabric and either sew a string to it to tie around your neck, or just pin it to the shoulders of your blue top.

When it comes to selecting the proper footwear for this costume you have a bit of wiggle room. Technically you should be wearing a pair of red calf high boots. However, not everyone wants to splurge on this item if they’re not going to incorporate it in their everyday wardrobe. So instead, you might want to go the red thigh highs or knee high socks route and throw on a pair of sexy heels with it.

One must have for this look is the S symbol on the top. You can make this out of fabric, print it on paper and pin it, or look around online and possibly purchase a patch to stick onto your top. An optional accessory you might want is a yellow belt. This all depends on what blue top you went with. The belt needs to be placed between the top and skirt, so if your look doesn’t allow it, like with this corset, then we suggest leaving it out. Another accessory you might want to consider is a clutch purse. You may be a superhero but you still need to pay for stuff and that money needs to be kept somewhere.
